On Sunday February 12th, Schoorl is closed from 8.30 hours for all incoming car traffic. We therefore recommend you to use the shuttle buses.

Shuttle bus service

To reach Schoorl easily and quickly, a shuttle bus service is used between Alkmaar and Schoorl. Haven’t you order a bus ticket during your registration? Ordering one is still possible on site. A return ticket costs € 5.00,-. The buses leave from Alkmaar Central Station and the Hogeschool InHolland. In Schoorl the bus stop is 150 meters from the start. Sporthal de Blinkerd is 500 meters away.

Departure times shuttle bus service to Schoorl

In order to bring visitors and supporters as close as possible to the start and finish, the buses drive partly over the course of the Groet uit Schoorl Run. Therefore the buses don’t run during the start of the various distances. So keep an eye on the following times and arrive in time!
Buses run to Schoorl from 8.30 until 10.30 hours for the start of the Mizuno 21.1K and the Run2Day 30K. From 11.15 until 14.00 hours the buses run for the start of the Mizuno 10K.

Shuttle bus stop Alkmaar Central Station

Address: Bergerweg 200, 1817 HM Alkmaar

If you come to Alkmaar by car, you can park your car at the address above and take the bus at the shuttle bus stop. The parking area is open until 18.00 hours. The buses leave from the Kruseman van Eltenweg.

Shuttle bus stop Schoorl

The buses leave from the same place as the arrival. This is at the Schoutsakker, just before the intersection with the Heereweg. This is approximately 100 meters from the start and 400 meters from the finish and Sporthal de Blinkerd.
The buses leave:
  • every 10 minutes between 12.30 and 14.00 hours;
  • every 10 minutes between 15.15 and 17.00 hours.
Please note that there’s no shuttle bus between 14.00 and 15.00 hours due to the start of the Mizuno 10K. The last bus from Schoorl to Alkmaar leaves at 17.15 hours.

To Schoorl with your own transport

On the approaching roads to Schoorl the route to the parking places is indicated. Due to the expected crowds, we advise you to arrive in time. When entering Schoorl, follow the signs and instructions of the traffic controllers.
